About The Event
Join our experienced paranormal investigation team led by Ryan O’Neill (Scottish Paranormal, Discovery Channels Spooked Scotland, Spooked Ireland and Published Author) & Gregor Stewart (Scottish Paranormal, Published Author & Guest on Help My House is Haunted) for what promises to be a very interesting evening at this fantastic historic location.
The Location Dating back to the 14th century, Neidpath Castle sits on an elevated site above the River Tweed, close to the town of Peebles. The original tower house has been altered considerably over the centuries, with additional buildings added and a courtyard created. A pit prison remains below the structure serving as an eerie reminder of darker times.
The best-known ghost story connected to the castle is that of Jean Douglas, who is said to have died from a broken heart after her father refused to allow her to marry a man he deemed of insufficient class. Other unexplained phenomena…
